About Us
Goat Patrol is an environmentally sustainable landscape management business owned and operated by Alix Bowman. Ms. Bowman focused on entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business with the goal of starting a sustainable business. After dabbling in pig poop and green consulting, Ms. Bowman decided to return to her naturalist roots by getting outside and working with animals and the land. The inspiration for this particular business was found knee deep in a patch of English Ivy (a scourge, to be sure), which Ms. Bowman was struggling to remove to make way for a garden. "If only I had some goats," she thought... and four months later, Goat Patrol was born.
