Goat friendly links

We were amazed at how quickly we fell in love with goats and were not surprised to find out there is a whole wide world of people who feel the same. These links will take you to some of our favorite goat related places on the web so you can join in the fun. We also listed links to a few local businesses that we believe are leading the green revolution in Durham and beyond.

On the lighter side...

Everything about this site is funny (don't miss the roll over goat graphic) but my favorite page is Goat Trauma in Action.

Although we don't agree with the conclusion, we love this video about goats destroying America. Hilarious.

Other businesses we like

These businesses are friends of the Patrol. Check them out!

Elodie farms is run by my friend Dave Artigues and is the source of the best goat feta this side of the Atlantic. You can catch Dave at the Durham Farmers Market most Saturdays.

Pat is the man behind Goat Patrol's great new logo. If you are local, you may know Pat from the Merch in Carrboro.

Beth Bakke is a dog's best friend and it shows in the big smiling pooch photos on her blog. Every Tuesday she posts a Photohunt in which one of her canine clients is posing in front of a Durham landmark. If you guess the location correctly, you are entered to win a prize from a great local merchant. It's free, it's fun, and the dog pics are fantastic. Need a dogwalker? Check out the dogwalk website for details.

This is the website for my very talented sister's landscape design business. She is based in Vermont, but many of her articles offer tips and insights that are relevant in lots of places.
